The supervisor must vouch for the project. This includes accounting for the student’s eligibility and stating how the supervisor knows the student.

VELUX FONDEN expects the scholarship project to be at a level where the results can be accepted as a scientific article in a peer-reviewed journal.

The scholarship can tie in with the student’s master thesis.

The project description must contain details of the project's background, aims, hypotheses, a project schedule, methodological specification, data materials, originality, ethics, dissemination of results and feasibility.

VELUX FONDEN's scholarship has a budget totaling DKK 145,000, with DKK 120,000 to cover salary for 12 months and max DKK 20,000 to cover operating expenses, Open Access fees and conferences.
